End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is an agreement between you and Kingbird Solutions LLC, 10625 N 35th Avenue, Suite A, PMB 1084, Phoenix, Arizona 85029, United States ("Kingbird," "we," "us," or "our") for the BuddySOS mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

BuddySOS Is Not an Emergency Service

BuddySOS is not an emergency service and does not contact 911 or any emergency responder on your behalf. Alerts depend on your device, battery, location permissions, cellular or data connection, and third-party carriers, and may be delayed or fail. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number first.

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple or Android devices that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service.

Auto-Renewable Subscription

BuddySOS Plus

$1.99 per month or $19.99 per year. Unlocks additional groups and safe zones.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the same price.
  • Manage or cancel: iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep subscription features until then. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • Promotional codes can be redeemed on iOS. Groups or safe zones unlocked by watching a video in earlier versions of the App remain available.

Pricing Changes

We may change subscription pricing or features. We will notify you in advance, and new pricing takes effect at the start of the next billing period. You may cancel before the change takes effect.

Privacy Policy and Terms

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, including their age requirements and dispute-resolution terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App, location updates, or alerts will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including any failure or delay of a location update or alert, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to This EULA

We may update this EULA. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated EULA.
